Ceres Community Project Receives Donation from Kendall-Jackson
This year, we were honored to partner with Ceres Community Project for our 18th Annual Kendall-Jackson Tomato Festival.
Ceres Community Project is a nonprofit that supports individuals dealing with serious illness with free, delivered and nutrient-rich prepared meals made by young volunteer gardeners and chefs. Ceres builds healthy and caring communities by engaging teens as gardeners and chefs and nurturing their leadership skills and commitment to healthy eating. Ceres’ volunteer chefs will prepare 88,000 free and low-cost meals in 2014 for hundreds of Sonoma and Marin county families facing a health crisis such as cancer.
With your help, we were able to raise $14,635 for Ceres Community Project.
