Hi there, it’s Melissa here from The Sweet Escape with another New Years Eve DIY idea to share. If you’re hosting some friends to ring in the new year and planning on serving delicious Kendall-Jackson wine, here’s a great idea on how to glam things up for the occasion. New Year’s Eve is the one time of year when you have creative license to put glitter on anything and everything, including your wine glasses.

For this project you’ll need wine glasses, of course, then some glitter paint or glitter nail polish and the end of a pencil. Just a note that this is for a temporary effect. If you want to glam up your glasses permanently be sure to use a glass paint or marker and follow instructions on how to set. Use hot soapy water or nail polish remover and a little elbow grease to remove the temporary glitter effect after the celebration is over.

It’s pretty easy – just dip the end of your pencil into the paint then dab on the glass. You want to see the glitter so be sure to re-dip the pencil often. It may not look super glam while you’re working and the paint is wet but I promise that it will look great once it’s dry.

When it’s dry, you’ll have some classy gold speckled glasses to glam up your New Year’s Even table. Then pour your guests some delicious Kendall-Jackson Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay and let the party begin!
