Shipping FAQs
Shipping wine in the United States can be tricky as all 50 states have unique Alcohol Beverage Laws and Regulations. To change your “Ship to State”, click the top-right corner of our website to see if your state allows direct shipping of alcohol or keep reading for our complete shipping policies. Once you start shopping, make sure to select the state where you want the wine delivered.
Non-wine merchandise such as cookbooks, clothing, wine glasses, and other accessories can be shipped anywhere in the United States.
At this time, Kendall-Jackson is permitted to ship wine within the United States only. We cannot ship internationally. Learn more about where Kendall-Jackson is available internationally.
Once your order has been packed, you’ll receive an email on the day your wine ships with tracking info. Just click on the tracking information, and you can view the status and expected delivery date. If you have an account with us, you can find your tracking information in your Order History. If you need assistance, please call us at 800.769.3649 or email kjwines@kj.com.
All shipments are sent by UPS or FedEx ground. Two-day or overnight shipping is available at an additional cost when you need your wine to arrive sooner. We also offer temperature-controlled shipping. This protects your wine from hot or cold temperatures that can damage the quality of the wine. Temperature-controlled shipments only ship each Friday. Additionally, in hot months (when it’s over 80°F), we add a reusable ice pack to ensure the safety of the wine.
Shipping costs vary based on quantities, preferred delivery method, and timing. Shipping fees are calculated during the checkout process. Shipments may be subject to state sales tax.
We know shipping fees can be a bummer. The best way to save on the cost of shipping is to become a Club '82 member or to subscribe to our mailing list.
Since wine is an alcoholic beverage, it requires an adult signature upon delivery. Make sure someone 21 years of age or older will be at the address when your order is delivered. Unfortunately, we can’t ship wine to P.O. boxes for this reason. If you are not going to be present at your home address during your normal delivery times, we recommend shipping to a business address or 3rd party shipper, e.g. FedEx Office, FedEx Onsite or other location with someone available to sign for the wine.
Orders ship daily Monday through Friday. We don’t ship on the weekend and can’t schedule deliveries for Saturday or Sunday. The wine ships from our warehouses in California and Ohio, and delivery times vary anywhere from 2–5 business days depending on your “Ship to State.”
Extreme hot or cold temperatures, either in your delivery area or along the transit route, may damage the quality of the wine. In these instances, we may delay your shipment until the temperature is in an acceptable range. During the warmer months, we also offer temperature-controlled ground shipping, and these shipments leave our warehouse every Friday. While checking out, you may choose two-day or overnight shipping for an additional fee.
Pending on the shipping carrier, you may be able to use their online portals or customer service information to reschedule, delay your shipment, or hold for pick-up. If you are not able to do so, please call us at 800.769.3649 or email kjwines@kj.com.

The Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens is located in the heart of Sonoma County, California approximately 75 miles from the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Our address is 5007 Fulton Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.
The Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Reservations are available starting at 10:30 AM with our last reservation available for seating at 3:30 PM. We are closed New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Reservations are required for tasting experiences. You are welcome to call us to see if we have availability for a same-day reservation. Note, that our busiest days are Fridays thru Mondays. If we aren't able to accommodate same-day reservations, we invite you to take a stroll through our picturesque gardens, make a bottle purchase, or shop our curated selection of merchandise.
At Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens, we want to create an intimate environment for our guests. Pre-paid reservations allow us to anticipate who is coming in and to give guests an all-encompassing experience at the best price possible.
Based on seasonality, yes! During April through October, we offer a Garden Tour & Tasting Experience. The Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens is set on approximately four scenic acres and offers a seasonal abundance of sight, smell, and taste. During the Garden Tour & Tasting, you will be led on an educational stroll through the culinary garden before being seated on our beautiful patio to enjoy some of the day's garden harvest and taste through our world-class wines.
Our estate vineyards are located throughout the cool climate + coastal winegrowing regions of California. The Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens is also situated within one of our estate vineyards, so while we don’t offer a formal vineyard tour, you are welcome to take a walk through the vineyard rows to snap a selfie while exploring the grounds. Don’t miss our educational vineyard and sensory garden which showcases the many varieties of wine and farming techniques.
Our winery operations (winemaking + bottling + cellar facilities) are closed to the general public. But don’t worry, the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens offers plenty of opportunities to learn about the winemaking process and get to know the story of Kendall-Jackson from vine to bottle.
Thanks for being a Club '82 member! With every visit, all Club ’82 members can enjoy savings on our tasting experiences. We ask that all visitors, even our Club ‘82 members, make a reservation so that we can provide the best experience as there is no guarantee without a reservation.
To reserve your tasting and take advantage of your discount benefits, please be sure you use the email address associated with your Club ’82 membership when you finalize your reservation using Tock. Your Club '82 preferred pricing will automatically be applied to your reservation upon booking; you will need to go further than you think in the payment process in order to see your savings. If for some reason you do not see your discount upon completion of your booking, we will happily refund the appropriate fees upon arrival.

Yes, your reservation is completely transferable. To transfer a reservation, log in to your Tock account and then select, “Reservations”. Each reservation has a transfer button next to it.
Please note, however, that selling reservations for greater than face value may be illegal in your area. Anyone who purchases a reservation from another patron should take care to ensure that they have received a formal transfer of the reservation through the restaurant’s official website. Any reservations purchased on the secondary market are at the purchaser’s risk. We cannot accept responsibility for forgeries or misrepresentations.
Yes, guests under 21 years of age and well-behaved children are welcome with adult supervision when booking a standard tasting experience. We ask that minors and children remain seated at the table during the duration of your reservation. Please be sure to add that information to the reservation notes to ensure we have the appropriate table and seating accommodations for your entire party. Non-tasters will not be charged a tasting fee. We will happily refund non-tasting fees upon arrival. If you would like more space for your family to spread out, you may want to consider booking a Picnic or Bocce reservation.
Please note, minors are not permitted at special events where noted (such as our farm-to-table dinners) which are reserved for adults 21+ only.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are permitted with adult supervision as long as they remain on a leash and at your table at all times. Service animals are always welcome. Please remember to pick up after your dog. We kindly ask that you keep a watchful eye on your furry friends while in our culinary gardens to prevent them from eating our bounty or “doing their business”.
Due to the nature of some of our special events, we advise and appreciate if you leave your pets at home during our annual Kentucky Derby party, Farm-to-Table dinners, and other events as noted. Service animals are always permitted.
Outside food is ONLY permitted when booking a Picnic Reservation. Consuming alcohol purchased outside of our tasting room is never permitted.
Yes, we are happy to accommodate most allergies or dietary restrictions. Please be sure to note those restrictions when completing your reservation on Tock.
Due to the nature of our tasting experiences and events, we are unable to accommodate specific substitution requests (i.e. "sub chicken for pork"). Our team will work as hard as possible to accommodate you as our guest based on what is available within our gardens and from our local purveyors.
Yes, we have plenty of overflow parking for larger recreational vehicles to park and turn-around. For parties larger than 6, please contact us directly to arrange your visit.

Club '82 FAQs
As of June 2024, the Kendall-Jackson Wine Club is now Club ‘82. We’ve added new options and more perks so you can enjoy K-J, your way. If you signed up before then, you will be grandfathered into your existing membership tiers and benefits.
Technically, yes, anyone can join the club. That said, selling and shipping wine is a complicated thing in the United States. Due to variations in international and state laws, we can only ship wine to states where direct shipments are permitted by law. That means we are NOT able to deliver wines to an address located in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Utah, Wyoming, or to locations outside of the U.S. We also cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
No! There is no cost sign-up and there are no annual or re-occurring membership fees. That means you only pay for the wines in your shipment at a discounted rate and any extras you choose.
We typically charge your credit card on file one-week prior to shipping. Don’t worry, we will remind you via email in the event you’d like to update your information before we charge your card.
In order to access all the wines, benefits, and perks of being a Club ‘82 member, we require a 1-year minimum– an equivalent to 3 shipments.
Going on an extended vacation? Having a baby? Experiencing medical issues? Don’t worry, we know life happens and sometimes that requires putting your Club ‘82 membership on hold. Club ‘82 members may pause or skip their membership for one shipment. However, pausing or skipping two consecutive shipments is the equivalent to a cancellation. If you find yourself in this situation, please reach out to us, we’d be happy to work with you so you don’t miss out an any wines or perks!

The number of bottles in each shipment depends on which club tier you join: 4, 6, or 12 bottles, three times a year. See above for all of our options.
Yes, all Club ‘82 members have the ability to customize their club shipments if you would like to swap a bottle from our curated selections.

Yes! Club ’82 members are welcome to stop by our Wine Estate & Gardens during business hours. Members also have the option to pick up their wines during our member-only parties. While you’re here, be sure to use your complimentary Estate Tastings or your discount on a Wine & Food Culinary experience.
If you are unable to pick up your wine during the allotted time frame, please call or send us an email to arrange your pick-up date.
We can only register your membership under one name and billing address.

While we do offer a limited number of walk-ins when availability permits, there is no guarantee without a reservation. We ask that all visitors, even our Club ‘82 members, make a reservation so that we can provide the best experience. During business hours, you can always take a stroll around the garden or make a bottle or merchandise purchase to bring home.
