Stature represents the pinnacle of Kendall-Jackson winemaking excellence. Much of Santa Barbara County’s reputation for bold, Burgundy-style varietals can be attributed to the unique combination of the Pacific Ocean's influence on the mineral driven soils, long growing season, and cold summer nights which help to retain acidity and balance in the vineyard. Our Stature Chardonnay is crafted from two of our family's estate vineyards: Camelot vineyard of the Santa Maria Valley and the Neely vineyard in Los Alamos. The final wine is a result of hand-selecting four barrels that beamed with quality and individuality and could be blended into one profoundly complex Chardonnay. The 2021 vintage expresses a lush, opulent pineapple, mango, and papaya bouquet with a creamy, rich finish on the palate and floral honeysuckle notes that add aromatically elegant layers.
