Since 2020, Kendall-Jackson has proudly been the 'Preferred Wine of the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs'. From the official West Coast Derby party to our annual release of commemorative wines, we invite you to join us to celebrate the 151st Kentucky Derby.

We're bringing the excitement of the Kentucky Derby to Sonoma County. Join us at the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens for the West Coast's largest and official celebration of the 151st Run for the Roses. Our stunning four-acre culinary garden, expansive lawn, and alfresco patio will provide the perfect setting for a fun-filled day of wine, food, fashion, horse racing, and entertainment. Derby Day festivities will include a large-screen viewing of the Kentucky Derby day races, fashion contests, Derby-inspired Souther cuisine paired with our award-winning Kendall-Jackson wines, beer by Seismic Brewing Company, Golden State Cider, iconic mint juleps, live entertainment from Radio Gatsby, and more.

Yes, Club '82 members receive special event pricing at $150 per ticket. To take advantage of your discount, please be sure to log in to Tock and purchase your tickets using the same email address associated with your Club '82 membership. There is a maximum of (4) discounted tickets per membership. Discount does not apply to pre-sale tickets or VIP Lounge Table experience.
Our annual Derby Party happens rain or shine! We utilize both indoor and outdoor spaces with plenty of room under the big tent to protect from the elements such as the sunshine or rain. As you will be in the garden, appropriate footwear is recommended. We also recommend SPF, sunglasses, dressing with layers, and/or bringing a light jacket or umbrella. Please note, we do not offer a coat check.
All tickets are final sale. However, tickets can be transfered. To avoid scams, please do not buy or sell tickets online via Facebook Marketplace or other 3rd party re-sellers. Contact us to complete your ticket transfer.
Standard ticket sales are first-come, first-serve in terms of seating. Doors open at 11am. If you'd like to be seated at a certain spot in our garden or under the big tent, we recommend arriving as close to 11am as possible. Additionally, if you would like to guarantee seating for groups up to 12, we recommend you purchase a VIP table.
The official start time for the 151st Run for the Roses will be announced closer to race day. Typically, it is shortly after 3pm Pacific time. We will provide a full schedule of events, including key races, the week of the event when the official race schedule is published by Churchill Downs.
No. Our Kentucky Derby Party is reserved for adults 21+ only.
Under normal circumstances, we are dog-friendly at the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens. However, due to the nature of our Derby Party, dogs and other pets are not allowed and we appreciate leaving your furry friends at home. Service animals are always permitted.
Due to the nature of the event, we cannot accommodate special requests or all types of dietary restrictions. Our team will work as hard as possible to accommodate you as our guest but we are unable to accommodate specific substitution requests. There will be an assortment of options including Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. Please just ask each food station attendee if you are unsure.
While this event is mostly enjoyed in the great outdoors, we ask guests to please be courteous of others and refrain from smoking under the big tent. If you do choose to step away to a smoking area, please be sure to properly dispose of your butts for fire safety.
