Home to mountains, valleys, rivers, and over 50 miles of coastline, Sonoma County is a diverse wonderland of terroir including nineteen AVAs (American Viticultural Area) which define the diversity of this renowned wine region and exhibit a far greater variety of wine styles and grapes than you will find in most other premium wine areas. The size and distance between each of these distinctive AVAs ensures the individualism of wines and styles crafted from the sought-after vineyards. From the celebrated Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of the Russian River Valley to the distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon of Alexander Valley and Knights Valley to the approachable expressions of the Sonoma Coast and Sonoma Valley, there is a wine for every palate.
