Verjus, literally translates to “green juice” in French which refers to its sour grape source, is a flavorful non-alcoholic juice pressed from grapes harvested each season. Our Chardonnay Verjus is pressed from estate-grown Chardonnay grapes in the Arroyo Seco region of Monterey County, CA. Like the wine varietal, this Verjus shows bright and rich flavors of bright lemon, lime, and green apple. Verjus is less intense than vinegar, and adds complexity to salad dressings, sauces and beverages.
